Outlines for Talks
Most talk assignments are really much too large for the amount of time you have to speak. A talk is more effective when it is narrowed down to a segment of the topic. For instance, if you're asked to talk about prayer, you might choose family prayer, praying for a testimony, or how prayers are answered. This way, if there are three or four speakers all assigned the same topic, yours will be different.
This section contains possible subtopics for the topics included in the topic listing. Once I complete the list of subtopics, I will return to each subject and suggest possible outlines. I won't write your talks for you, because researching and preparing is part of the benefit of being asked to speak, but I will suggest directions you might go as you develop your talk.
To use this page, select the letter of the alphabet with which your topic begins. This will take you to the proper space in the list. Click the topic if it's a link (if it isn't, I'm not there yet) and go to the page that contains the subtopics. You can also begin with the topics page. The quote list will include a link to the subtopic and outline section.
